Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
From January 1, 2015, all the applications to take part in the program are accepted and appraised via Express Entry selection system.

The Federal Skilled Worker Program participant has to gain minimum 67 points. The ministry of citizenship and immigration of Canada establishes the criteria for selection.

If an applicant gains the needed quantity of points, it is necessary to demonstrate that he or she has enough of savings that are necessary for living in Canada. Moreover, the applicant and the members of his or her family are to undergo a medical examination and to provide the information on the absence of a criminal record from the place of residence. As well as from those countries, where the applicant and the members of his or her family had lived for more than 6 months from the moment of adulthood.

Federal Skills Trade Program

From January 1, 2015, all the applications to take part in the program are accepted and appraised via Express Entry selection system.

Criteria for selection:

In order to lay up claim to immigration visa and Permanent Resident status of Canada on the Federal Skills Trades Program, candidates are to:

  • Have a job offer from one or two employers from Canada (minimum for 1 year) or a Certificate of Qualification from a provincial or territorial body in Canada.
  • Provide the proofs of the English language proficiency (for example, the IELTS test results) at a rate that is not lower than CLB(5) speaking and understanding, CLB(4) – reading and writing. How to determine the CLB level: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp
  • Have minimum 2 years of qualified work for the last 5 years, on which the application is being submitted.
  • Be ready to prove skills and work experience.
All the jobs of the "B" level of NOC (National Occupational Classification) are considered and have right to take part in the given program. It is nearly 90 jobs, which relate to the following spheres:

  • Industrial, building professions, as well as those, which related to electricity.
  • Technical service and equipment operation.
  • Managers and technical professions, connected to agriculture and natural resources.
  • Managers and operators in the sphere of utilities.
  • Cooks and bakers.
  • Butchers.
Canadian Experience Class.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is a perfect immigration program for the foreign workers in Canada who want to get the Permanent Residence status in Canada.

The Candidates are to satisfy the following requirements:

  • To have more than 12 mopnths of work experience in Canada for the last 3 years before submitting the application for the Permanent Resident status.
  • To demonstrate the level of English is higher than CLB 5 or CLB 7, depending on the job position. You can determine the CLB level here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp
  • To choose any province, except Quebec. Candidates who gained their work experience in the Quebec province can use the Quebec Experience Class Program.
It is necessary to take into consideration that work experience that was obtained during the study in Canada will not be taken into account.

Opportunity for International Students.

For the international seniors, the given program gives the opportunity to get a status of a Permanent Resident. For this, it is necessary by graduating a Canadian Educational Institution to have at least 1 year of work experience of the professional, qualified or technical sphere in Canada.
